SOUTHINGTON, Conn. (WTNH) — Drivers in Southington should expect delays and possible lane closures after an overturned vehicle blocked the on-ramp to Interstate 84 eastbound Tuesday afternoon.
Just after 2:15 p.m., the Connecticut Department of Transportation reported that emergency responders were on the scene of a vehicle rollover accident on the on-ramp to Interstate 84 eastbound at exit 32 in Southington.
Officials estimate it will take up to two hours to clear the accident from the on-ramp. It is unclear what may have caused the accident, or if any people were injured in the crash.
Drivers looking to get on Interstate 84 eastbound in Southington can take Route 10 north into Plainville, then take a right onto Woodford Avenue. Follow Woodford Avenue to get on I-84 east at exit 34.
