Stop & Shop removes pretzel crisps from stores amid recall

PURCHASE, N.Y. and QUINCY, Mass. (WTNH) — Stop & Shop grocery stores have removed Snack Factory Original Pretzel Crisps and Snack Factory Sriracha Lime Pretzel Crisps from their stores

The items, which may contain milk, an allergen that is not listed on the ingredient label, have been removed from shelves following a recall by Baptista’s Bakery, Inc.

The two recalled products are Snack Factory Original Pretzel Crisps, 7.2 oz, UPC code 049508006008 with Best By Date 07-01-2017, and Snack Factory Sriracha Lime Pretzel Crisps, 7.2 oz, UPC code 049508006060 with Best By Date 07-01-2017.

The company says people who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk may run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.

Any customers who may have purchased these products should discard them and bring their purchase receipts to Stop & Shop for a full refund.
