Arrest made in East Haven armed robbery

EAST HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH)– An arrest was made Friday in an armed robbery of an AT&T store in East Haven.

Police say 26-year-old David Brockenberry was arrested on charges stemming from the armed robbery of the AT&T store at 7 Foxon Boulevard.

On August 6th just after 10:30 a.m., police say two masked men armed with handguns entered the store and ordered employees in the back room. The suspects then stole approximately $50,000 worth of cellphones before fleeing the store.

Brockenberry was found in his New Haven home by police and charged with robbery and larceny. He is being held on $300,000 bond.

There is no word on a second arrest at this time.
