Florida fugitive found acting suspiciously at Westport pharmacy

WESTPORT, Conn. (WTNH) – What began as a complaint that suspicious people were CVS Pharmacy lead to arrest of a wanted fugitive.

Police were called to CVS Pharmacy on Post Road East at 2:19 a.m. Tuesday morning after a complaint that suspicious people were in the store. They left before police got to the location but they were able to get a vehicle description.

Police were able to stop the car from leaving the parking lot. A passenger in the car had an warrant out for his arrest out of Broward County in Florida.

28-year-old Brandon Anton Dacres of Weston, Florida, has charges of robbery with a firearm. Dacres was charged with being a fugitive from justice.

He was unable to post $250,000 bond. Dacres will be arraigned later Tuesday afternoon at Norwalk Superior Court.
