Tech Report: New Galaxy Note 7 Android phone uses your eye to unlock the phone

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — First it was your fingerprint, and now it is your eye.

The next level of security for smartphones is iris scanning. This is built into a new device that just hit the market.

News 8’s sister station, KRON4’s Tech Reporter Gabe Slate shows you the new flagship Android smartphone that is getting a lot of buzz.

You can unlock and authorize downloads and payments in traditional ways, with your fingerprint or a pin code, on the new Galaxy Note 7.

Or if you want to feel like your at the CIA headquarters, you can use your eyes.
