Missing Southington teen found safe in Cheshire

SOUTHINGTON, Conn. (WTNH)– Southington police have found a missing 15-year-old boy with autism safe in Cheshire Monday morning.

Police say Logan Gibbons left his home on Carter Lane at some point during the overnight hours through a bedroom window. He is described as a white male, 5’8″ tall, and weighs 120 lbs. Gibbons also has green eyes and short blond hair with a pale complexion.

Police say Gibbons is autistic and has left the home in the past before being found at various locations within Southington.

Gibbons loves to swim and has been known to jump into pools when he becomes too hot. He is also fearful of dogs.

Southington police issued a silver alert for Gibbons but have since canceled it. They also issued a statement thanking everyone who helped Gibbons reunite with his family.
