MILFORD, Conn. (WTNH) – Milford police have arrested two people in connection with alleged shoplifting at a store inside the Connecticut Post Mall on Tuesday.
Milford Police received a complaint of a possible shoplifting taking place at the Target store inside the mall on Boston Post Road. When officers got to the scene, they saw the suspects loading the suspected stolen items into their car.
When the suspects saw police, they quickly ran back into Target. Police pursued, and took a juvenile suspect into custody.
The other suspect, 20-year-old Tyreek Outlar, of Stamford, was able to get away. A Milford police canine unit was able to locate Outlar, and he was placed under arrest.
Outlar charged with multiple offenses, including conspiracy to commit larceny, larceny, interfering with arrest, and breach of peace.
Outler was released on $5,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear at Milford Superior Court on September 27th.
