PLAINFIELD, Conn. (WTNH) — A Plainfield man is facing drug charges after police say they found drugs in his car and home. 38-year-old Dustin Stewart is facing a number of drug charges.

Police say they pulled Stewart over on September 7, at 11:59 a.m., for a traffic stop. Police say when they searched the car they found eleven individually wrapped pre-packaged bags of cocaine and marijuana, as well as cigarettes.

Police say they also searched Stewart’s home and found he had about 109.7 grams of cocaine and 14.8 grams of marijuana.

Stewart was given a $50,000 bond.

Plainfield police want to take this opportunity to remind residents to report any suspicious activity to the police department, as they continue to try and fight drug issues in the town.
