NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — Zoefit expert, Shana Schneider says to start working out all you need is a throw pillow. Schneider stopped by Good Morning Connecticut to show us how to get in some stretching and muscle toning while watching TV.

Or try out these 3 easy ways to turn a pillow from a nap tool into an exercise tool:
1) Squeeze the pillow between your knees to work your inner thighs (add intensity w/ single leg extensions)
2) Move the pillow in a side to side twist to work your oblique muscles (add intensity w/ pillow overhead)
3) Use the pillow for a series of seated sit-ups (3-levels: pillow behind, pillow in front, pillow overhead)
*Bonus tip: Put the pillow on the floor for a one leg balance challenge to improve your core and posture and increase ankle strength!
