1 dead, 2 injured when motorcycles collide with car

ROCKY HILL, Conn. (AP) — One person was killed and two others were injured when two motorcycles and a car collided in Connecticut.

The Hartford Courant reports the crash happened just before 5 p.m. Saturday near the Rocky Hill and Cromwell town line. The motorcycles were traveling south and the car was traveling north on Cromwell Avenue.

All of the vehicle operators were taken to area hospitals, where one of them was pronounced dead. Police haven’t released any names.

The crash remains under investigation.
