Arrest made in Bristol disabled veterans club shooting

BRISTOL, Conn. (WTNH)– An arrest was made Saturday in a shooting that happened at a disabled veterans hall in Bristol last year.

Police say 28-year-old Christopher Solis, of Bristol, was arrested in connection with the November 7th shooting at the Disabled American Veterans Club of 191 Riverside Avenue. No one was injured in the shooting.

Officers found Solis sitting in the passenger’s seat of a car being driven on Davis Street when they took him into custody. Solis was charged with Reckless Endangerment First, Unlawful Discharge of a Firearm, Carrying a Pistol Without a Permit, Criminal possession of a Firearm and Breach of Peace.

He was also charged with Possession of Narcotics after the officer found three pills on him.

Solis posted his $75,000 bond on the arrest warrant and his $5,000 bond for his narcotics charge. He will appear in court on September 19th.
