WASHINGTON, D.C. (WTNH) – U.S. Senator Richard Blumenthal, U.S. Senator Chris Murphy and U.S. Representative Elizabeth Esty will host a discussion on gun violence in America on Tuesday.
The lawmakers will talk about the status of gun violence prevention efforts in the four years since the tragic shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown.
The discussion will follow a viewing of the film NEWTOWN, which documents the tragic aftermath of the deadliest mass shooting of schoolchildren in American history.
Tuesday’s event takes place at 6:00 p.m. in the Congressional Auditorium at the Capitol Visitor Center at the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C.
