OLD SAYBROOK, Conn. (WTNH) — All northbound lanes of I-95 are re-opened after being closed overnight following a two-truck crash in Old Saybrook.

Troopers say they were dispatched around 3 a.m. on Wednesday morning following a crash involving a tractor trailer and a box truck, which they say had overturned. The box truck was carrying frozen sausage, much of which fell out due to the impact of the crash. Dispatchers say the Department of Consumer Protection was called in to oversee the clearing of the food item from the roadway.

One of the two drivers was transported to an area hospital for minor injuries. DEEP was also called in for a possible fuel leakage from one or both of the vehicles.
