Police investigate after man shot in Hartford

HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH)– Police are investigating after a man was shot in Hartford Tuesday night.

Police say ShotSpotter alerted officers to a shooting on Wethersfield Avenue around 9:23 p.m.

Multiple shots were fired and an unidentifed 30-year-old man was struck in the hand and in the thigh. He was taken to Hartford Hospital for his injuries where he was later treated and released.

There are no suspects in the shooting at this time. The incident remains under investigation by Hartford’s Major Crimes Division.
