Cruisin’ Connecticut – American Football Tailgating Ideas with an Albanian Singing Chef

CHESHIRE, Conn. (WTNH) – Today we’re Cruisin’ Connecticut to Bella’ Gio Ristorante in Cheshire, in search of fall-ingredient-infused tailgate dishes.

Nothing says American football tailgating like coming to a modern Italian restaurant with the Albanian singing chef and owner, Frank.

Now Chef Frank might not be the biggest fan of American football, but he sure had some savory dishes to sample.

The chef put a twist on traditional chicken wings, by fusing tender duck wings with a sweet honey buffalo sauce. The dish is topped with Gorgonzola, and will be a hit at your next tailgate!

Pumpkin crème brûlée, buffalo-ranch calamari, and more… the list went on. I think I gained 17 pounds while filming the segment.

Check out the restaurant for yourself: 835 W. Main St., Cheshire, CT
