New Haven police: Robber threatens to shoot victims

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — A robber threatened to shoot people in New Haven’s East Rock neighborhood Thursday night if they didn’t give him their valuables, police say.

According to authorities, two robberies and an attempted robbery happened within a 45-minute span at Linden and Livingston Streets, Livingston and Cottage Streets, and Foster and Cottage Streets. They say the suspect never showed a gun.

Police describe the suspect as a 6’2″ tall black man in his twenties with facial hair and an athletic build. They say he wore a green zip-up outer jacket, jeans, and a black winter cap.
