Connecticut’s Need For Foster Families

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) – Every child deserves love and stability in their life, but unfortunately that’s not always the case for the hundreds of Connecticut children who are in need of foster care.

If you have room in your heart and your home, the Children’s Community Programs of CT wants to hear from you.  The goal is to find families that can help nurture and provide stability for children.

“Every family you have your ups and downs, and for us it’s been an upswing,” said Therapeutic Foster parent Jessica Miccio. She has been fostering children for nearly 10 years.

Currently the organization is looking for a family recruit to take in a 13 year old boy from Honduras. They’re looking for a 2-parent home with older children that want to be a big brother or sister.

Contact Jaqueline Morris at the Children’s Community Programs of Connecticut at 203-786-6403, extension 178.
