Madison hosts special screening of ABC’s ‘Speechless’


MADISON, Conn. (WTNH) — A new sitcom will premiere Wednesday night on ABC about a family with a special-needs child. It will highlight the challenges they face, along with new ones they create themselves.

A special screening of ‘Speechless’ was held Tuesday at the Madison Art Cinemas, presented by Madison’s Special Education Parent Teacher Organization (SEPTO). Dozens of families, students, and educators attended.

News 8 anchor Ann Nyberg hosted the event, along with State Senator Ted Kennedy, Jr. (D-Branford.)

Speechless will air it’s first episode Wednesday night at 8:30 on ABC.
