State police arrest two on drug charges

POMFRET, Conn. (WTNH) — State police have arrested two men on drug related charges after pulling over a car on Route 44 in the town of Pomfret.

According to police, the vehicle was initially stopped for failing to drive right. Approaching troopers were familiar with the driver of the 2005 Impala, who they identify as 25-year old-David Hetu. Troopers say he was acting in a nervous fashion and later told the authorities that he had heroin hidden in his boot.

A person in the passenger seat, identified as 31-year-old Greg Raymond, also admitted to having heroin in his pants pocket. Both men face charges of possession of heroin.
