MASHANTUCKET, Conn. (WTNH) — Connecticut State Police have released the name of the man killed Tuesday in an incident that locked down a portion of Foxwoods Casino.

State Police say Michael Goodale, 23 of Groton, was the suspect who fell from the fourth floor of the Fox Tower Garage after being shot by a Mashantucket Tribal Police Officer.

Tribal Police Officers rendered first aid, however Goodale was pronounced dead. There were no other injuries reported.

A spokesperson for the casino tells News 8, Goodale was a patron of the casino who had outstanding warrants for violation of probation against him.

The Fox Tower garage was closed during the police investigation. It has since reopened.
