12-year-old struck by car in Glastonbury

GLASTONBURY, Conn. (WTNH) — A 12-year-old boy is recovering in the hospital after he was struck by a car outside of Smith Middle School Thursday afternoon.

The accident happened just before 3:00 p.m. along Addison Road in Glastonbury.

Glastonbury Police tell News 8 the boy suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation.

No further details have been released.
