89-year-old “popsicle man” gets big payout after Internet rallies

CHICAGO, IL (WSPA)— A photo of a 89-year-old Chicago Popsicle vendor went viral online and sparked compassion that lead to a successful Go-Fund-Me Campaign.

The elderly salesman received a check for over $384,000.

The money gathered from strangers online was raised to help the man and his wife.
