Inside look at America’s last working steam powered cider mill


OLD MYSTIC, Conn. (WTNH) — This week’s Working for Connecticut takes us to Old Mystic to the last working steam powered cider mill in the United States.

Fall is that time of year where you might be craving a fresh, hot cup of apple cider. No better place to get it than from B. F. Clyde Cider Mill.

News 8 spoke with a descendant of the original founder of the mill for an inside look on just how that delicious beverage is made.
