Mentorship programs help students attendance & academic success

NEW HAVEN Conn. (WTNH) —  September is national attendance awareness month, and while students are back in school many are already in danger of falling behind simply because they don’t consistently attend school.

Sarah Harris the Principal of Vance Village School in New Britain joined us this morning to explain what she is doing at her school to make sure that does not happen.
