Gas prices in New Haven on the decline

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) – Average retail gasoline prices in the New Haven area are down 0.8 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $2.25/gallon.

That’s according to GasBuddy’s daily survey of 229 outlets in New Haven.

This compares with the national average, which has fallen 0.7 cents per gallon in the last week to $2.20/gallon.

Prices at the pump in Connecticut are about 15 cents lower per gallon than this time last year and more than a cent cheaper than a month ago.
