Police make DUI arrest in Milford

MILFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — Police had a warrant for a Milford woman in connection to a car accident back in May.

51-year-old Nancy Derman, of Milford was taken into custody on Thursday, September 29th.

According to police, Derman is accused of driving her car under the influence of alcohol on May 10, 2016, when she backed her car out and hit the home across the street on New Haven Avenue.

She is being charged with driving under the influence, reckless driving, and unsafe backing. Derman is held on $1,000 bond. She’s expected back in court on October 27th.
