Stratford Police investigate store robbery

STRATFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — The Stratford Police Department is investigating an armed robbery.

Police say it happened at 2:30 a.m. on September 22 at the 24/7 store located at 1607 Barnum Avenue.

According to officials, two unknown black males entered the store and demanded money from the store attendant at gun point. The male on the cell phone then entered the store before the robbery and acted as a lookout.

All parties fled the scene in a black vehicle. Officials say there was also a fourth person involved that was driving the car. Approximately $600 dollars was taken from the store.

No one was hurt.
