Weekend services changes for Metro North riders

New Haven, Conn. (WTNH) – Metro North has announced that passengers on the Waterbury line will be put on buses to get to their destinations between Friday night and Sunday night while track improvements are being made.

Southbound buses will depart between fifteen and thirty minutes earlier than the scheduled trains. The buses heading north, from Bridgeport to Waterbury, will follow the train schedule. The track improvements include removing the Devon Transfer platform and running tests to check the integrity of the new overhead wire system.

More detailed information about the changes can be found on the Metro North website.
