Average price of gasoline in New Haven remains stagnant

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — The average price of gasoline in New Haven has remained at an average of $2.26 per gallon for the past week, according to GasBuddy.

This compares with the national average of $2.22 per gallon, which has gone up 1.5 cents per gallon in the last week.

In New Haven prices are 11.8 cents per gallon lower than a year ago and 2.1 cents per gallon lower than a month ago.

According to GasBuddy historical data, gasoline prices on October 3 in New Haven have ranged widely over the last five years: $2.38/g in 2015, $3.59/g in 2014, $3.74/g in 2013, $4.13/g in 2012 and $3.70/g in 2011.
