Bolton couple arrested for stealing and pawning jewelry

SOUTH WINDSOR, Conn. (WTNH) — A woman and her boyfriend are scheduled to appear in court after being arrested for stealing and pawning jewelry.

On September 28, Officers arrested Ashley Levitt, 31, of Bolton. Her charges came from a complaint that was made by a resident who resides in South Windsor saying she was missing jewelry and suspected her cleaning lady to be involved.

Police said they interviewed Levitt and they found a piece of the jewelry but some was still missing.

Levitt was charged with larceny in the third and fifth degree and her boyfriend, Robert Berube, 30, of Bolton was charged with Larceny in the fourth degree for pawning some of the stolen items.

Both were released on bond and are scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court on October 6.
