Connecticut fugitive arrested, will be extradited to Florida

SOUTHINGTON, Conn. (WTNH) — A Naugatuck man will go in front of a judge in Bristol on Monday to answer to fugitive from justice charge and await extradition to Florida.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s office out of Tampa, Fla., contacted the Southington Police Department and advised that they were in possession of a full extraditable warrant for Thomas Mullins on October 1st.

Mullins is charged with two counts of sexual battery on a victim less than 12 years old. According to police, information was obtained that Mullins was staying in a room at the Southington Motor Lodge located at 165 Jude Lane.

He was taken into custody. Mullins is being held on a $1,000,000 bond.
