Fugitive From Maine Arrested in Southington

SOUTHINGTON, Conn. (WTNH)- A Maine man was arrested in Southington on an outstanding warrant for a burglary charge. Police say Clinton Damboise of Readfield, Maine was found at the Motel Six on Queen Street in Southington.

Police say Damboise was wanted in Maine for a burglary charge, and he was also a suspect in a bank robbery. Police say Damboise said he had a handgun during that robbery.

Southington Police took Damboise into custody and he was charged with being a fugitive of justice. He was scheduled to be in court on October 3, and will then await extradition to Maine.
