TERRYVILLE, Conn. (WTNH) — Young drivers will learn about the dangers of distracted driving at a local high school on Tuesday, Oct. 04.
The Connecticut Department of Transportation’s highway safety office is bringing the “Save a Life” tour to Terryville High School.
The program is designed to make an impact with teenage drivers.
The goal is to show them the consequences of texting behind the wheel, or becoming distracted in other ways while driving.
The “Save a Life Tour” will be at Terryville High School from 7:30 a.m.-2:12 p.m.
