CT schools to hold a walk-in to send messages to their communities


MERIDEN, Conn. (WTNH) — Schools across Connecticut will be holding a walk-in to send a strong message to the communities. That message has to deal with the success of the students.

Nine Meriden schools are taking part in this event, as well as several other school districts across the state. The goal behind these walk-in’s is to “reclaim the schools”. and shine a spotlight on all the good that teachers do and the success of their students. The event also is used to send a powerful message.

Teachers, classroom support personnel, parents, and students will gather outside and talk about working together and how to demonstrate success in the community.

Walk-ins will also being held in:
New haven
New Britain

2,000 other locations across the country will also participate.
