MIDDLETOWN, Conn. (WTNH) – State Police have made an arrest in the death of a man who’s body was found ten years ago in a field in Ledyard.

Timothy Johnson, 32, of Norwich, was charged Thursday with one count of felony murder. Johnson is accused of killing Anthony Hamlin of Groton on January 28, 2006.

Hamlin’s body was found in a field near Shewville Road in Ledyard. Police say Hamlin died of head injuries. Investigators have been working the case and offered a $25,000 reward in 2011 for information leading to an arrest.

Johnson turned himself in to Montville State Police barracks Thursday and is being held on $1 million bond.
