(WTNH)–How long can people live? A new study suggests there may be a limit to our life span.

The record for the world’s oldest person is 122 years. Researchers say the odds of breaking that record set in 1997 are slim. They think the human life span more likely ‘maxes out’ at 115 years old.

Some aging researchers say the new work does not take into account progress made in the laboratory in extending the life span of some animals including mice, worms and flies.

Other scientists say people who wish to live longer, healthier lives should focus on diet and exercise.
