Yale presents plan to tackle opioid epidemic


NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — Governor Dannel Malloy is going to be at a news conference at Yale on Thursday, Oct. 6 for a talk on the opioid epidemic.

The University has new research to present and a plan on how the state should respond to the problem.

The news conference will be led by a Yale medical professor.

Yale said the report was created in partnership with the Office of the Governor, Yale School of Medicine and Connecticut’s insurance carriers.

The news conference starts 1:30 p.m. on the first floor of the Yale School of Medicine.
