New Haven police look for SUV involved in fatal motorcycle crash

The New Haven Police Department is attempting to locate the following vehicle on the charge of Felony Evading for a Hit-and-Run motor vehicle fatality that occurred on Whalley Avenue and Osborn Avenue in New Haven on October 8, 2016 at 2:05 am. The vehicle is a Silver Acura MDX, possibly a 2003-2007. The vehicle will be missing the passenger side rocker panel and may have other damage to the passenger side. NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) – New Haven police are looking for a silver SUV that they say was involved in a fatal motorcycle crash early Saturday morning. At 2:05 a.m., police were called to a crash at the corner of Whalley Avenue and Osborn Avenue. The motorcycle driver, Garry Gulledge, 31, of Oakville died. Witnesses say he had been riding “wheelies” around the neighborhood before the crash. Police found a surveillance photo of the SUV they say was involved in the crash that killed him. They say it is likely a 2003-2007 silver Acura MDX. The SUV is missing the passenger-side rocker panel and should have other damage on that side as well. Anyone with information about the crash or the SUV is asked to call New Haven police at (203) 946-6304. Calls can be made anonymously.
