Singer Jennifer Hill Teaches Ryan and Teresa A Few Singing Tips

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) – Does your child crave stardom? Vocalist and vocal teacher Jennifer Hill shares what to look for in picking a music teacher.

With 20 years teaching experience, a college education at one of the top Music Schools in the country, and a whole lot of street cred, Jennifer teaches to be the best at what you love and to be a professional at the same time.

Theory and Technique are a must in her lessons (don’t worry she will teach you that!), and she will instruct you on the “correct” way to do things… but heart and soul is what will make it shine.

She works with students from the age of 5 on. No matter what level you are Jennifer can find the method that is suitable for you and make it easy for you to follow. Every lesson is tailored to the individual and every student is a star.

When Jennifer isn’t working with students or her band,  she helps to encourage and support every musician she can. She is the founder of CT’s SWAN DAY CT (support women artists now) a movement to empower women musicians and connect them as fellow artists, she is an avid fundraiser, an active member of A.S.C.A.P (American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers), and a strong presence in her community bringing together musicians of all types and genres.

Here in her home state of CT she is at the top of her game and has been  a winner, nominee and a finalist for the past 6 years within the state of CT at the  CT Music Awards (best singer songwriter( 3 years),  New England Music Awards (Best Band) and Hartford Advocate Grand Band Slam (Winner Best Female vocalist 2009, Nominee 2008,). Her music has been played all over the airwaves of the United States to the London and Paris stations. You can check out her other day job here, her Band Murderous Chanteuse:
