Actor Michael Lombardi’s New Role Bringing Him Back Home to Connecticut




NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) – Actor and Waterbury native Michael Lombardi stars in play called “A Room of My Own” right here in CT at The Seven Angels theatre in Waterbury.

You may recognize Michael Lombardi from “Rescue Me.” These days he’s working on “A Room of My Own,” a true story written and directed by Charles Messina. “It’s about family, and learning to accept your family, and needing to go back to understand it in order to go forward,” said Lombardi.

Currently he is also filming a recurring role on a new HBO show called “The Duece” starring James Franco and Maggie Gylennhal. The series is scheduled to premiere in 2017.
