Enfield police looking for bank robber in stylish hat

ENFIELD, Conn. (WTNH) – Enfield Police are looking for a man who robbed a bank there Tuesday. Police were called to the Santander Bank at 40 Hazard Avenue in the Brookside Plaza. The suspect was gone by the time police got there. Tellers say he handed them a note saying “This is a bank robbery, no die (sic) packs.” No gun was shown. The man got some cash and took off. Police used dogs to search, but came up empty. They were able to get a photo of the man from bank surveillance cameras. The suspect is described as a black male, 5’6″, about 160 lbs. wearing a brown hat, tan dress jacket, khaki pants and brown boots. Anyone with a tip is asked to call Detective Lewis at (860) 763-8939.
