Orange police investigate shoplifting at Target

ORANGE, Conn. (WTNH) — The Orange Police Department is investigating a shoplifting at Target.

Police said 53-year-old Edie Sims has been charged with larceny.

According to the Orange Police Department, she was stopped by security and detained for questioning on September 30, when the incident occurred.

Police said she stole $197 worth of Red Bull energy drink, health products and household items without paying for it.

It happened at the store on Boston Post Road in Orange.

She was subsequently taken into custody and charged.
