Driver not wearing a seat belt arrested for cocaine

ORANGE, Conn. (WTNH)  –  A West Haven woman pulled over for not wearing a seat belt was also allegedly in possession of cocaine

Orange police have charged 50 year old Jacqueline Lipford with possession of cocaine.

According to police, officers on patrol spotted a driver on Route One not wearing a seat belt and pulled the vehicle over.   Police found that Lipford was the driver and was not only wanted on a warrant by New haven Police  but also found a small bag of powered cocaine in her purse.   After being processed Orange Police turned her over to New Haven Police to face their charges.
