Orange police bust man for overloaded truck

ORANGE, Conn. (WTNH) — The Orange Police Department arrested a New Haven man for driving an overloaded truck.

Police said Miguel Roman was pulled over because they noticed his truck was overloaded with scrap and junk items.

It happened on Oct. 2 along Route One.

Officers later learned that he was wanted by state police on an unrelated matter.

Roman has been released on a $500 bond.

He’s due back in court Oct. 18.

Police have charged him for failure to properly secure load, operating a motor vehicle without insurance, misuse of a marker plate, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, failure to appear in court.
