Coffee with a cop in Middletown

MIDDLETOWN, Conn. (WTNH) — Connecticut state police are offering you to have coffee with them on your way home from work on Friday, Oct. 14.

State police are holding “Coffee with a Cop” at the I-91 northbound rest area in Middletown from 4 – 6 p.m.

Troopers will answer questions and have conversations.

AAA will do free car battery testing and tire pressure checks.

Stew Leonard’s will be giving out doughnuts and other goodies.

Organizers said, “Coffee with a Cop is a world wide program used to break down barriers and promote conversation between police and members of the public.”
