In the Bender Kitchen: Men Who Cook Benefits CT Women


NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) – The annual Men Who Cook Gala is this weekend and it is bigger than ever. Head Chef Jeff Trombetta kicks off the weekend with delicious savory crepes in the Bender Kitchen.

25 amateur chefs will be cooking for a great cause of helping CT women and families in crisis. This year the Center celebrates its 25th anniversary. This cooking event is the biggest fundraiser of the year. Participating chefs include Senator Ted Kennedy, Jr., Rep. Sean Scanlon, and many other prominent locals, like Tim Geelan, President of Guilford Savings Bank.

The Men Who Cook Fundraising Gala will be held on Sunday October 16 at the Guilford Yacht Club from 5:00 – 8:30 to benefit the Women & Family Life Center in Guilford, CT.
