HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) – We are still several weeks away from frigid weather weather setting in, but Operation Fuel says it’s ready to help the state’s most vulnerable household with energy assistance.  Operation Fuel held it’s annual Energy Assistance Conference this week.  Energy providers, as well as several fuel banks from across the state attended.

The annual statewide energy assistance conference focused on the availability of energy assistance and various programs that the utility companies have to help lower-income households manage their energy expenses this winter. Operation Fuel’s statewide network of 103 fuel banks will begin taking applications on December 1.
