Report It! Recap: October 14, 2016

(WTNH) — There’s nothing quite like fall time in Connecticut. Everyone is out there enjoying this time of year.

Between the pumpkin patches at Lyman Orchards or Karabin Farms. One pumpkin, bigger than little Weston. Jaxon went out for a stroll. The turtles in Clinton doing the same while sunning themselves.

Tis the season for apple picking and putting up all those Halloween decorations. You’re also showing your support for breast cancer awareness month.

Mike sent in an awesome picture of two bald eagles perched in a tree in Derby. Why did the turkeys in West Haven cross the road? I honestly don’t have an answer for that.

The Molter family in Middletown with a milestone. Daughter Adeline celebrating her first birthday.

The drought conditions in Shelton clearly visible.

But the big story of the week was that plane crash in East Hartford. You sent us images and details as it was happening.

Finally a big congratulations to four students at Shepaug High School in Litchfield county. They took home top honors at the 2016 White House Student Film Festival. They even got to meet Modern Family star Ty Burell.

Keep those pictures coming!
