State leaders to announce grants for public safety in Hartford

HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — State leaders will announce millions of dollars in federal public safety grants for the city of Hartford on Friday.

U.S. Senator Richard Blumenthal, U.S. Senator Chris Murphy, U.S. Congressman John Larson, and Hartford Mayor Luke Bronin are happy to announce $4.75 million in federal grants for public safety in Hartford.

These grants will help the state’s capitol city keep their streets a safe place for children and their families.

The announcement will take place at 12:15 Friday afternoon, on the second floor of Hartford City Hall.
