1 dead in 2-car crash on I-91 in Windsor Locks

WINDSOR LOCKS, Conn. (WTNH) — Connecticut State Police say one person has died in a crash on Interstate 91 Saturday afternoon.

State police say just before 2 p.m. Saturday a two-car crash happened on I-91 northbound in Windsor Locks. All lanes were closed and traffic was diverted off exit 42.

Police say one person died in the crash. There is no word as to if anyone else was injured and no identities have been released.

As of 7 p.m., the left two lanes and the exit 42 on-ramp are open, but the right two lanes remain closed.
